China Airlines flight change fee and conditions to change the flight

If you have a flight booking with China Airlines and due to the unforeseen situation you have to postpone the plan and change the flight, you don’t need to worry. China Airlines allows you to change the flight date and time anytime you want at least 2 hours prior to the flight departure time.

If you change the flight with China Airlines flight change fee is the total amount of fare difference and service charge. You can only change the flights which are booked directly through China Airlines. You will not be able to change the following type of flight tickets with China Airlines:

• Flight booked through an agency or third party website

• Flight booking is done by using the points or miles

• Flight with a multi-city itinerary

• If the record of the ticket is hanged by booking office

• Ticket booked with additional services

If you have selected the special services while booking the flight ticket, you should select those services again while changing the flight booking. Otherwise, you will not see those services on your new booking.

Try to use the same credit or debit card which you used at the time of booking the original ticket while changing the flight so that you don’t have to go through the credit card verification at the airport by showing the card at the time of check-in.

If you change the flight and the new booking is cheaper than the old one you will get the refund for the remaining amount. You can apply for the refund at the branch office at the airport.
