When you delete the email, it automatically transfers to “Trash” folder. Often happens that this folder is hidden, and if you can’t see it, you need to enable it in Gmail settings.

Sign in to Gmail and click on the gear icon on the upper right of the screen. From the drop-down menu, click on “Settings”. In the new window, select “Labels” tab. There you need to find “Trash” item and make it visible by clicking on “Show” button.


In order to find deleted emails, first, you must dig a little deeper in your “Trash” folder.

On the left side of the Gmail screen, you will see “Trash” folder on the list. Click on it and all deleted emails from the last 30 days will be shown.

If you remember any keyword that you think your email may contain, click on the search bar at the top of the screen, type these keywords and press Enter.

On the list that appears, find your email, open it, and move it to the inbox with a button above the email. You can do the same action by pressing on trash icon in the email that you found, and when email is opened, click on “x” next to the “Trash” label.
